God’s name Elohim means “Creator, All Powerful One, Judge”.
The Creator:
In John 1: 1-4, 10, it is written:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.”
“He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.
He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. “
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. “
Who is the Word who created all things? Jesus Christ is the Creator.
Colossians 1: 16-17 states:
“For by Him (Christ Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. “
Jesus Christ is also the Judge ordained of God to be the Judge of the quick and the dead, as written in Colossians 1: 42. The scripture continues. “To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins. “
Again in II Timothy 4: 1 Jesus Christ is verified as Judge of the quick and the dead.
Moreover, Jesus Christ, Elohim the Judge is coming soon.
In verses 2-5, the scriptures instruct us to:
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
The Judge is coming.
the Son of man comes.
