My husband and I were in Dubuque Iowa, at the Grand Harbor Hotel, celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary. We took a stroll on the Mississippi River Walk being bathed in warm light by the late afternoon sun.
The concrete surface glowed with various shades of salmon color. All the street lamps lined in a row had beautiful heart-shaped flower arrangements.
As we walked hand-in-hand, we came upon colorful balloon bouquets.
Combining these sights with the calls of the sea gulls
and the sounds of the waves lapping against the rocks,
we were aware that only God could have orchestrated such beauty!
And it was all for our 45th Wedding Anniversary! Wow!
