Enjoying the spring weather at Seminole Valley Park in Iowa, I discovered a place of shocking beauty on the Cedar River. Amidst pastels of flowers and foliage, fallen tree trunks and branches had formed a natural bridge on the opposite shore. An invitation to explore tantalized from across the river. Unable to cruise across, I nevertheless discovered that simply viewing this scene etched in my mind great contentment. What God creates is awesome!

This Iowan park is 409 acres and is outlined by the Cedar River. Located 5 miles northwest of the city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, it is also the home of the Seminole Valley Village and Farm, which are history treasures in themselves.
