Child of Many Colors

Surrounded by children dressing up in various hats and clothes, I pondered at the reflections of different colors on the children’s faces. Suddenly before my eyes, the skin colors in that old song “Jesus Loves the Little Children: red, brown, yellow, black, and white” didn’t exist any more, but rather the skin tones merged together in a vibrant kaleidoscopic fusion of multi-colors.
