Peace During Chaos

The answer where to find peace during chaos is found in Romans 13: 11-14.

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”

What does this mean? God says in verse 11 says we must realize that Christ’s return is near! We are to be vigilant to recognize it, for now is not the time for Christians to be indifferent or to be clueless. Behold, the Rapture is at hand!

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.”

Verse 12, God says to put things of darkness (sin) out of our lives and instead put on the armor of God. Ephesians 6: 13-18 states that the armor of God is breastplate of righteousness, loins of truth, feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, helmet of salvation, shield of faith, and the sword of the Lord, which is the Word of God.

“Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering (licentiousness) and wantonness (lewdness), not in strife and envying.”

God says in verse 13 that we should walk honestly or virtuously at all times.

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and make not provision for the flesh,
to fulfill the lusts thereof.

In verse 14, God tells us to put on the Lord Jesus Christ – to ask Him into our hearts and lives. When we do this, our lives are changed by God’s hand.

It is written, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and give Himself for me. “                                                                                                   Galatians 2: 20

Jesus Christ is coming soon! Until that moment, we can experience His peace anywhere and at anytime – even during chaos.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you:

not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

                                                                                       John 14: 27

 Peace during chaos.
