Jesus Christ’s Return is Very Soon! Third Sign

by Kathleen Huebener in Inspiration

For those of us who await the Lord Jesus Christ, amidst all the evil that surrounds us,
the good news is Christ’s return is very imminent. In fact, the signs are shouting at us,
“Repent! The King is coming! Look up, for your redemption draws near!”

The third sign is the socio-religious climate preparing for the one-world church.

There is a common thread moving around the world. The belief being woven is that any religion can lead a person to eternal life. In fact, in America, half of the people under 30 believe this. The stage is being set for the one-world church.

There are two places nearby where different religions gather together to pray. Never before in our history have we ever seen this happen. However, despite the promises of future peace, the danger of forgetting the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ is great.

In contrast to all other religions, Christians believe that God Himself reached down to sinful mankind to save them. Imagine this! God is purity. The Bible says God is so pure, that He cannot even look upon sin.1 It says that our sins have hid God’s face from us. 2 In fact, all our righteousness is as filthy rags. 3 So there is no way for us to reach up to God. There is a barrier between God and us; and the barrier is our sins. We were born with sin already in our bodies, because we are the offspring of the first man Adam who sinned.

God, who is so pure and good, made His Son Jesus Christ to be sin for us. Jesus Christ, who had no sin, took our sins upon Himself and died on the cross in our place. In doing this, Christ opened the way to God the Father. That is, IF we accept Christ as our Savior. This means that if we accept Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for us and believe that He died in our place, then our sins are forgiven and we are made the righteousness of God in Christ.4 In other words, God the Father sees the blood of Jesus Christ covering us, accepts us as His, and through Christ, gives us eternal life.

The Bible describes the future leader of the one-world church in Revelation 13: 6-8

“ And he (leader of the one-world church) opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

The saints mentioned in the scripture above refers to those who accept Christ after the Rapture and during the seven years of Tribulation. Thank God for the Rapture of Christians before the seven years of Tribulation!

If we keep this knowledge in perspective,

how should we live out the rest of our lives here on earth?
